Orpyx Medical Technologies Inc. announces exciting changes to its Executive Team

Calgary, AB, Canada, December 14, 2021 – Orpyx Medical Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the following changes to the executive leadership team, joining existing members Dr. Breanne Everett, CEO and President, Karen Smith, VP Marketing and Sharilyn Weisbeck, VP Finance.

Denis Brisson, Chief Operating Officer brings over 30 years’ experience in operations and engineering fields, including laser manufacturing, aerospace, telecom and consumer products. He has worked with world class Fortune 500, Tier 1 organizations as well as technology start-ups throughout the USA and Canada, having global scope and complexity.

Kirk Slone, interim VP Software has been working in the software industry for over 20 years including 10 as the Chief Technology Officer for GEOTrac Systems Inc. where he saw them from an early-stage start-up company through to acquisition by Trimble Navigation (now Trimble Oil and Gas Services). As Orpyx’s software platform matures, Kirk’s extensive software experience will contribute to elevating us to higher levels. Kirk’s innovative approach to software and dashboard improvements contribute directly to empowering patients and clinicians through remote patient monitoring.

Justine Jones, VP Business Development brings over 15 years’ experience in developing and executing upon strategic partnerships across various industries. Justine has hit the ground running in supporting the development of our personal protective business (PPE). Justine’s customer-focused approach will take the portfolio to new heights.

Marcel Groenland, VP Operations (promotion). As Co-founder, Marcel has been integral to the operation heading up Production, Customer Care and Quality Management, and we look forward to continuing to work with Marcel as he contributes to the growth and scale of Orpyx.

Travis Stevens, VP Research and Development (promotion) has overseen all aspects of development, from sensors to software, of Orpyx’s industry leading platform, Orpyx SI® Sensory Insoles. Travis’ leadership has been critical in the continued evolution of our product designs for ease of usability and scalability.
